Community Operations

Community Group have over 12 years’ experience in bid-writing, fundraising and sponsorship gains for our community partners. To date, through our bid-writing we have achieved over £850,000 worth of donations from charities for project work that our community partners have delivered on. We complete all of the application process and apply on behalf of our community partners with a high success rate. We support each community partner through the formation of a charitable status to allow the funds to be best placed and processed. We have been successful with bids with Awards For All, Tesco Bags 4 Help, Garfield & Weston Foundation, Ironmongers Foundation, Sport England, Heritage Lottery and many more. Community Group will actively work with current and potential sponsors offering community engagement that will add a different dimension to sponsorship.

We engage with the sponsor at all levels keeping key stakeholders up to date with the very latest information and exposure. We organise breakfast mornings, sportsman lunches and dinners and arrange for various options that can range from individual sponsorship to whole department sponsorship. We can centralise sponsorship or complete individual sponsorship for our community partners. Community Group ensure that everybody receives the benefits of sponsorship and that it will be the start or the continuation of a great relationship. Community Group have helped our community partners in fundraising for key projects whether that be stadium expansion or play equipment for a local school. We will agree a plan to attract funds through various events with the key aim always at the forefront so all are in complete awareness of where the funds are going to.
