STOURBRIDGE Rugby is continuing to help children in the local area by delivering school textbooks.
Working with Ridgewood High School, the Community Group partner has previously delivered free school meals during the third national lockdown.
With home schooling in operation, club volunteers have also ensured children have the relevant educational aids to help with their studies, dropping off 170 GCSE books to 150 households.
Stourbridge Rugby Head of Community, Chad Thorne said: “We wanted to continue to support our local community and we were more than happy to deliver the books when Ridgewood High School got in touch. There’s obviously a lot of talk about how children will be affected and whether they will be behind with their education, so we hope having the textbooks at home will benefit the pupils.”
